After two years of recreation, Doctor Sparkles, that ukulele playing wise guy who "makes light of self" and host of San Francisco's ukulele cabaret – Jumping Flea Circus, has released his swinging tribute to humanity's tail, Monkey Swing Monkey Doo...

Monkey Swing Monkey Doo is both thoughtfully composed and splattered with improvisation. Joining Doctor Sparkles are San Francisco's Mad Duran (woodwinds), Chicago's Anavi (vocals), New York's Jim Dower (keyboards) and Norfolk's Russell Scarborough (drums)... to name but a few of its creative contributors.
Monkey Swing Monkey Doo is Doctor Sparkles' swinging sequel to his 2006 uke-centric album, Sail Away, whose title track was named "Best Cabaret Song" by Just Plain Folks, itself being voted 2nd runner-up for "Best Cabaret Album".
