Biography

Paul Stephens (born October 11, 1980), better known by his stage name S.G. or S. Gizzle, is an American rapper/ A&R who is signed to Southern Stisles Records.
S.G. started rapping at the age of 15, and began recording in a studio at 18. Throughout high school he was always attracted to music through freestyle groups and rap battles. Little is known about his earlier career, but not long before leaving college, S.G. remembers having rap battles with other rappers and former label mate JTL, who introduced him to CEO Mr. Envi', and was later signed to Southern Stisles Records in 2006. He featured on the labels first online album release "Monsta Game" and later became a member of the South Pound, whose album "Tryin' To Maintain", was the labels second digital release in February 2009. He also featured on a series of mix tapes throughout the course of 2009.
He is currently working on his debut album entitled "Bonafied" which has produced its first single, "So Fresh" and is scheduled to be released June 1,2010. He has also begun touring the local Shreveport/ Bossier City area and is looking to start his promo tour as early as the spring of 2010.
