****WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LEASING AND EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS?

To put it simply, the person that owns the rights to the beat, can make money off the beat, the people that are leasing, cannot pass the song off as their own. But a "mixtape" version of the person that owns the exclusive rights. Also, you cannot shop demo's or mixtapes to labels if you do not have the rights to the song. So think about that before you do it, otherwise you will just get us, AND the person that owns the exclusive rights rich.
